The contradictions of femininity generally inspire the work of designer Meena Pittman. She sees women as kind and pure, often placed on a pedestal and stored behind glass. Although women are beautiful, they're also provocative and gross. Femininity is complex, and when Pittman creates garments, she want to reflect that. Pittman hopes to empower anyone wearing her clothes with that notion.
