Emerging designers Sophia B. and La’Nyca C. are rising talents in the world of fiber arts, currently honing their craft through the Young History Detectives (YHD) Youth Arts Fellowship—a program designed to uplift young creatives through mentorship, hands-on experience, and industry access.
Together, they explore sewing, crochet, and other tactile forms of expression, using fashion as a way to expand their creative voices and experiment with bold ideas. Their shared passion drives them to learn, innovate, and push boundaries with every new piece.
With fresh skills and growing confidence, Sophia and La’Nyca are excited to debut their work and step into the future of fashion—one stitch at a time.
